ECOSYSTEM

The Meteon Run ecosystem is built on the Polygon blockchain, combining a mobile running game with a Web3 NFT marketplace and a dual-token economy. Every component is connected into a single, self-sustaining loop where playing, staking, and trading reinforce one another.

Dual-Token Economy

The ecosystem runs on two tokens with distinct roles:

  • $MTO (Governance Token) — The value-bearing token of the ecosystem, with a fixed maximum supply of 100,000,000 on Polygon. $MTO is used to buy and sell NFT shoes on the marketplace, to participate in staking and governance, and to access game financing and scholarship programs. It is acquired through exchanges.

  • $GMTO (Utility Token) — The in-game utility token. Its primary role is to keep NFT shoes in working condition through repairs.

Staking

By staking $MTO, holders earn $GMTO at a rate of 40 $GMTO per year for every 1 $MTO staked, accrued on a daily pro-rata basis. Staking is the primary way to obtain $GMTO and is the core mechanism connecting the two tokens.

NFT Running Shoes

NFT running shoes (ERC-721) are the central in-game asset. Each shoe has rarity, durability, and performance parameters. Durability is consumed through play and restored by spending $GMTO on repairs. New players can start with free, non-NFT trial gear before entering the NFT economy.

Deflationary Burn

To keep the token economy healthy, an amount equal to 3% of all $GMTO spent on NFT shoe repairs is automatically and permanently burned every day. Because the burn is executed on-chain via the GMTO contract's burn() function, total supply is reduced directly and every burn is verifiable on Polygon.

Marketplace & Scholarships

NFT shoes are traded on the Meteon Garage marketplace using $MTO, $GMTO ,$USDT(polygon), $POL. Through the scholarship system, shoe owners can lend their NFTs to other players, enabling game financing and allowing newcomers to play and earn without owning an NFT outright — broadening participation across the community.

Game Modes

Meteorn Run offers two daily-scheduled game modes: Safe Mode, a low-risk mode for steady, consistent earnings, and Challenge Mode, a high-risk, high-reward mode driven by premium effects. The active mode is set on a master schedule and announced in advance so players can plan their strategy.

Together, these elements form a refined, supply-conscious tokenomics model designed to ensure long-term potential and sustainable growth for gamers and users alike.
